2012 Oktoberfest ticket sale policy:
Concordia Membership:

  • Tickets go on sale: Wednesday, May 9th, 2012 @ 9am at the club office, 429 Ottawa Street South, Kitchener, ON
  • a maximum of 10 tickets per Friday and 10 tickets per Saturday per membership (family membership = 1 membership)
  • no maximum ticket restriction on other Oktoberfest event days
  • Only adults of legal drinking age (19 years of age and older) are admitted (except family days = Sunday & Monday)
  • Acceptable payment methods: cash, visa, mastercard, amex, debit card & cheques
Public Tickets:
  • On-line-ticket sale only, commencing May16th, 2012
  • a maximum of 6 tickets per Friday and 6 tickets per Saturday per purchaser
  • no maximum ticket restriction on other Oktoberfest event days
  • Only adults of legal drinking age (19 years of age and older) will be admitted (except family days = Sunday & Monday)
  • There will be an additional processing & shipping fee charged on the tickets being mailed out via registered mail
  • Acceptable on line payment methods: visa, mastercard 
  • Concordia reserves the right to fulfill or decline orders, should the purchaser have already obtained tickets at via the “membership” sale. Online purchase depends also on the capacity of the online server.
Corporate Tickets:
  • Will be handled the same way as they have been done in the past on a case to case basis, if tickets are available as well as the size of the request

  • 1st Friday, Oct. 5th, 6pm-1am; $ 25.-

    1st Saturday, Oct. 6th, 6pm-1am; $ 21.-

  • Sunday, Oct. 7th, Noon-6pm; $ 10.-

  • Monday, Oct. 8th, 11am-6pm; $ 10.-

  • Tuesday, Oct. 9th, 6pm-11pm; Restaurant open in the evening only, admission free with a donation to the Food Bank

  • Wednesday, Oct. 10th, 7pm-1am; $ 10.-

  • Thursday, Oct. 11th, 6pm-midnight; $ 15.-

  • Friday, Oct. 12th, 6pm-1am; $ 21.-

  • Saturday, Oct. 13th, 6pm-1am; $ 25.-

    Ticket price includes all applicable taxes

 

Oktoberfest History

Oktoberfest, the world's largest beer festival, is held annually in Munich, Germany. The 16-day party attracts over 6 million people every year who consume 1.5 million gallons of beer, 200,000 pairs of pork sausage, and 480,000 spit-roasted chickens during the two-week extravaganza. While the event reinforces stereotypical images of beer-loving, meat-loving Germans dressed in dirndls and lederhosen, visitors to the annual event come from all over the world.
